Research & Studies

Our participatory research and studies generate evidence on the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and well-being of young people in underserved communities. We use this knowledge to develop innovative solutions and influence policies and programs to improve their socio-economic empowerment.

Advancing Knowledge for Empowering Communities: Our Research and Studies

Research and studies are an essential component of Path For Health Uganda’s work in improving the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and social well-being of young people in underserved communities. We believe that robust data and evidence-based research are crucial in informing our programs and interventions, measuring impact, and ensuring sustainability.

Our research and studies focus on generating knowledge on key issues affecting the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and social well-being of young people in underserved communities. We use a participatory and community-based approach to ensure that the research is grounded in the local context and addresses the needs and challenges of the target population.

Path For Health Uganda has conducted research on various topics, including access to sexual and reproductive health services, gender-based violence, menstrual hygiene management, and economic empowerment of women and girls. Our studies have been published in peer-reviewed journals and shared with stakeholders, including policymakers, to influence policies and programs that address the needs of young people in underserved communities.

Through our research and studies, we aim to:

Generate knowledge and evidence on the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and social well-being of young people in underserved communities.
Influence policies and programs that address the needs of young people in underserved communities.
Develop innovative solutions and interventions that improve the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and social well-being of young people in underserved communities.
Contribute to the body of knowledge on population health in Africa and beyond.

At Path For Health Uganda, we are committed to conducting research that addresses the needs of young people in underserved communities and contributes to their socio-economic empowerment. We believe that our research and studies are a critical component of our work in improving the sexual and reproductive health, rights, and social well-being of young people in underserved communities.
